Targa Tasmania - Rookie Rallye
The Targa Tasmania Rookie Rallye is a great introduction for first time entrants who have dreamed of competing in Targa but are not ready for the physical and financial commitment of the full event.
The Rookie Rallye is conducted over the Prologue, Day One and Day Two of Targa Tasmania as a stand alone competition.
It culminates with a gala podium finish in Launceston on Day Two. Winners of the Classic and Modern sections also receive free, full entry into the next Targa Wrest Point event.
The Australian Targa Championship technical regulations apply to the Rookie Rallye entrant in exactly the same way that they apply to the full Targa competitor. Entry fees can be viewed via the link in your competitor console.

Denyer loved everything about the event, and was glowing in his praise.
“With the lead we had today I was thinking about taking it easy and just cruising home, but we somehow finished third fastest outright on Mount Arrowsmith,” Denyer said.
